This website presents a preview of the Olympic Wind –project.

The Netherlands are in the race to host the 2028 Summer Olympics. The Hague can play a key role in the organization of the largest sports-event in the world. It’s seaside location, with the beach and harbor of Scheveningen, its role as Dutch political epicenter and its international position make it an ideal candidate to host several Olympic events.

This project focuses on the development of Scheveningen Harbor in an Olympic perspective. A design will be made for a new outer harbor including a cruise terminal and Olympic marina. Wind will play an important role in both the research- and design-process, and the existing plans are carefully investigated.

This website will be used as a com-munication-platform, and will be updated every several weeks.
